Information We DO NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

• No names, email addresses, or contact information
• No location data or GPS tracking
• No photos, camera, or microphone access
• No social media profiles or contacts
• No browsing history or app usage analytics
• No advertising identifiers or tracking cookies
• No personal data shared with third parties
• No meal data transmitted to servers

Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored only on your device and never transmitted to our servers:

• Your meal records (times, durations, types)
• Your meal notes and satisfaction ratings
• Your timer interval preferences (10-90 seconds)
• Your premium purchase status (if you upgrade)
• Your achievement badges and progress
• Your goal settings and streaks
• App preferences and settings

This information remains on your device and is automatically deleted if you uninstall the app.

Data Export

TasteTok allows you to export your meal data to CSV format for your personal records. When you use this feature:

• The CSV file is created locally on your device
• You control where to save or share the file
• No data is sent to our servers during export
• The export uses Apple's built-in sharing system

You have complete control over your exported data and can delete it at any time.

In-App Purchases

When you purchase premium features for $0.99:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple
• We receive only confirmation that a valid purchase occurred
• Your payment information stays with Apple, not with us
• Purchase restoration works through Apple's systems

Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle payment transactions.

Health & Fitness Data

While TasteTok helps you track meal information that relates to your health and wellness:

• All meal data stays only on your device
• We do not integrate with Apple Health
• No health data is collected, transmitted, or analyzed by us
• You maintain complete control of your meal records

TasteTok is a tool for mindfulness, not medical advice. Consult healthcare professionals for dietary guidance.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store: The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, which has its own privacy policy for app distribution and in-app purchases.

No Other Third Parties: We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, social media integrations, or any other third-party services that might collect your data.

Children's Privacy

TasteTok is designed to be appropriate for users of all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information, there are no special privacy concerns for children under 13.

Parents can feel confident that their children's privacy is protected while using our mindful eating app.

Data Security

Since we don't collect personal data, there's no personal information to protect on our servers. All meal data stays securely on your device, protected by your device's built-in security features and iOS encryption.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete individual meals: Remove specific meal records from the Manage Data screen
• Clear all data: Use the "Clear All Data" button to remove all meal records
• Uninstall app: Deleting TasteTok permanently removes all local data

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered because we don't store backups on our servers.

Changes to Privacy Policy

If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this policy and the effective date. However, our commitment to not collecting personal information will remain unchanged.

We will notify users of any material changes through an app update.

Your Rights

• No data to access: Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to provide
• Local data control: Your meal data can be exported to CSV or deleted at any time
• No data to port: Meal records are stored locally on your device only
• Complete control: You control all your information through the app and device settings
